Today, our conversation is about flourishing leaders leading flourishing workplaces. What are some of the key rhythms a leader must practice to flourish? What are some key rhythms an organization must practice to flourish?

I’m delighted to welcome Pete Kelly, CEO of Apartment Life. Pete has been leading Apartment Life, a unique business–as-ministry organization, for several years. Prior to that, he was with Cru for 24 years, developing leaders, and also doing front-line ministry in several settings.

Today, you'll have an opportunity to listen in on a conversation with one of the leaders highlighted in my new book, Road to Flourishing. I know you'll be encouraged by his wit and wisdom as he describes steps to achieving a thriving mission fueled by their flourishing culture.

I’m delighted to welcome Doug Mazza, President Emeritus of Joni and Friends. Doug was with Joni and Friends from 1999 to 2019, overseeing an era of tremendous growth in the ministry. He currently serves on their board. At Joni and Friends, they share the hope of the Gospel and give practical help to people impacted by disability. Earlier in his career, Doug was a top American executive for Suzuki and then Hyundai.

Does your organization have strong and deep leadership talent? Well today, we talk about how to develop leaders with character based on an environment of feedback and accountability.

As you grow your organization, how are you investing in the people who will carry out the mission that God has given you? Today we will talk about investing in leaders who are committed to following Jesus in their businesses. The principles of leadership development and Christian values apply whether you are leading in a Christian ministry or a marketplace business. In both contexts, we are called to steward the people we lead and fulfill the vision God has given us.

I’m delighted to welcome Mike Sharrow, President, and CEO of The C12 Group. Mike has had a fruitful career in a variety of settings, including leadership in health care, consulting, and nonprofits before focusing on growing a local C12 practice in Texas, and then taking on the leadership of The C12 Group.
